Task Responsibilities:
The main task of the Jr. Mechanic Avionics Shop is the repair, overhaul and modification of electro-mechanical components in the shop, by:
- Accomplishing repairs on electrical and electro mechanical components.
- Coordinating jobs and task with other team members
- Assisting in the creation tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs
- Operating the shop tooling and test equipment according to his/her approval and training received on same.
- Providing verbal and written handover to team members and superiors
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Accomplished technical apprenticeship (CATP/DAP or equivalent diploma)
- Work experience in the repair of electrical components is considered an advantage
- Good understanding of drawings, manuals and repair methods
- Mature attitude, ability to work independently
- Good computer knowledge (MS Office)
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
Working Conditions:
- Permanent full-time position, based in Luxembourg
- Day shift work as per the shop working schedule
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
