Mechanic Avionics Shop

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair, overhaul & modify aircraft electro-mechanical components in the shop
- Perform all administrative steps of the job (e.g. work cards sign off, parts booking, time recording)
- Operate test benches for troubleshooting and testing
- Assist in creating tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs and tests
- Operate shop tooling and test equipment
- Provide verbal and written hand-over of his work to team members and superiors
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship as electrician
- Minimum two years experience in the repair of electrical/ electronic components
- Good understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and repair methods
- Mature attitude, ability to work in a team and independently
- Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook),
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time position based in Luxembourg
- The position holder works in the shop environment.
- Occaisional flexibility outside the normal working schedule may be asked (within Luxembourg law and Collective Work Agreement regulations).
- Occasional travel will be remunerated in accordance with Collective Work Agreement.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
