FSQ I&S Specialist

About the Role:

Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Industrial & Supply Product Category & FS Risk Specialist who will become part of our Food Safety & Quality department.   

You will support the Food Safety Quality Industrial & Supply (FSQ I&S) Function, in overall governance activities in full alignment with short, medium, and long-term strategy and priorities.  

Being embedded into the FSQ I&S Category Lead team in charge of setting up the Food Safety & Quality requirements for the group in the Industrial perimeter, you will support relevant transversal cross-department projects and interact with different stakeholders and streams, ensuring that outcomes and deliverables are consistent delivered and aligned with all parties consistently with scope and objective. 

Main Responsibilities:

Covering this position, your role will be to support several initiatives: you will support the development and deployment of key projects in line with overall department long-term strategies including policies, procedures, and guidelines (e.g., Cleaning and Sanitation, Pest Control, Thermal treatment...).  

You will ensure continuous project tracking and monitoring (projects masterplan) and support in overall planning and prioritization.  

Moreover, you will contribute to the factories team’s capabilities development by supporting the FSQ I&S team in organizing and coordinating different training initiatives (e.g. support the organization of remote cascading down of guidelines and organization of workshops).  

You will also contribute to specific routines and meetings to actively drive projects and initiatives implementation.  

You will participate in internal function governance mechanisms, being involved in relevant project(s) and priorities discussions and support the cascading of relevant elements to ensure prompt cross-fertilization across-department.  

About You:

You will bring knowledge from a degree in Food Sciences or other related fields and 4-7 years of experience in Food Safety & Quality within a food manufacturing site or similar roles within a multinational environment. You have a good knowledge of food safety, food technology, food chemicals, and microbiological analysis.   

Your previous experience at plant level will enable you to successfully meet this role’s objectives. You have operated independently as a Food Safety Specialist and Food Quality Specialist, demonstrating autonomy, rigor, and a hands‑on approach in daily operations. 

You are fluent in English and at least another language and you have an excellent MS Office knowledge.
