**Secondary School Supply (Cover) Teacher**
Temporary role (irregular hours)
Required from September 2025
**Job Purpose**:
- to carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for assigned classes;
- to be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the students, during on-site and off-site activities;
- to promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy.
**You will have**:
- Experience covering or delivering lessons or work to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (aged 11 to 16 years)
- Outgoing and confident in ability to build relationships with students

We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply (Cover) Teacher who is able to work irregular hours on an ad hoc basis and often with short notice.
**Interviews**: to be confirmed one week prior to taking place, this will include delivery of a taster lesson.
**All applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. This will include checks with past employers, criminal records checks from countries lived, studied or worked in as well as social media and internet checks.**
