We are looking for a

**Internship - Large Language Model - Researcher (M/F/d)**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, resourceful individual to fill the role of Large Language Model Researcher Intern available for a minimum period of 6 months. The student will work closely with a senior researcher, contributing to identify a strategy for fine-tuning a Large Language Model (LLM) using multi modal data. This research has the potential to disrupt the iron/steelmaking industry. This is a unique opportunity that allows exposure to state-of-the-art research and offers the chance to co-author a scientific paper, a significant milestone in any research career. This internship has the potential to lead to starting a PhD thesis in Luxembourg to further investigate the topic studied during the internship.

**Your main tasks**
- Deep dive in the literature to understand how to adapt the LLM technology for the research
- Define a research strategy to secure a grant for PhD research, it is imperative to formulate a comprehensive research strategy that not only addresses a significant academic gap but also showcases methodological rigor and potential for impactful findings
- Get your hands in fine tuning LLM according to the strategy defined
- Participate in discussions, brainstorming sessions, and presentations related to the research
- Contribute to a scientific paper
- Regularly report on progress and findings.

**What do we expect?**
- Enrolment in a the last year of a master's degree program, in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, with demonstrated experience in using Keras and TensorFlow
- A strong research mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus but not mandatory.
