In order to support the strong growth of the company, this Fintech is looking for an Operational Risk Specialist.
We are seeking a talented individual to strengthen and participate in the development of our client's Risk Department. You will collaborate directly with their Lead Risk Manager and play a key role in implementing and continuously improving the Operational Risk Management Framework. **In this exciting role, you will**:
Map processes and identify risks and controls.
Uncover the root causes of operational risk events and provide innovative solutions to reduce frequency and impact.
Report regularly on risk event status to the Operational Risk Lead.
Collaborate with company departments to develop Key Risk Indicators tailored to their operations.
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices.
Support the Operational Risk Lead in maintaining policies and procedures documentation.
Coordinate end-to-end outsourcing with a risk-based approach, ensuring the company's obligations are met efficiently.
Conduct risk and opportunity assessments.
Drive continuous improvement of outsourcing processes and lead third-party risk management projects.
Help departments understand and utilize outsourcing tools and methodology.
Prepare training related to provider management from a risk perspective and develop other trainings as necessary.
**Your Profile**:
5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a background in FinTech or a leading auditing or consulting firm.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for operational risk in financial institutions.
Proactive, curious, and always seeking improvement.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment.
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels, with a no-blame culture and constructive approach.
Fluent in English and professional level of French is a plus.
Passionate about FinTech industry and knowledgeable about outsourcing regulatory framework is a plus.
