In this internship you will support the Environmental, Health, and Safety team in promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves assisting in the implementation of safety programs, conducting inspections, and helping with compliance initiatives. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of EHS management, contributing to the overall safety and environmental objectives of the organization. The role will be located in our European headquarters in Dudelange, Luxembourg, and will report to the EH&S Manager.

**This role is a temporary internship for a period of one year.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Safety Inspections: Assist in conducting regular safety inspections of the facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and Husky policies.
- Data Collection and Analysis: organize, and analyze data related to chemicals and environmental impacts.
- Training Support: Help in the development and delivery of EHS training programs for employees. Maintain records of training sessions and track employee certifications.
- Compliance Assistance: Support the EHS team in ensuring the organization complies with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations. Assist with the preparation of documentation for audits and inspections.
- Environmental Monitoring: Assist in environmental monitoring activities, such as air quality testing, waste management, and water sampling. Help in tracking and reporting environmental performance metrics.
- Project Support: Work on special EHS projects as assigned, which may include developing safety communications and improving safety processes.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, including maintaining EHS records, filing reports, and organizing safety committee meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of EHS principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
- Fluent in English
Additional language skills in German and/or French would be considered a strong assetStudent Benefits:
