**Job Description**:

- Credit Underwriting - evaluate, analyze and structure credit requests (primarily Lombard facilities incl. FX/derivative business, EU mortgage loans (RRE) under MCD and other loans/credit cards) within delegated competencies booked in Luxembourg.
- Prepare credit documentation e.g. credit contracts & pledge agreements etc.
- Perform balance sheet analysis for corporate borrowers.
- Conduct daily shortfall monitoring and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Perform recurring credit reviews/monitoring of existing credit relationships.
- Ensure credit processes and workflows are in line with applicable regulations, laws and internal risk policies.
- Ensure the proper administration and maintenance of the credit portfolio and files.
- Drive and execute credit-project related work.
- Develop, implement, monitor and amend local credit policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
- Liaise with the head office on relevant credit-related issues in order to comply with the group’s credit policies.
- Develop, implement and deliver credit risk related training to both the Risk as well as the Front Teams
- Constantly review and update legal loan and collateral agreements in cooperation with internal/external legal advisors.
- Track and be accountable for change management and remediation of all credit-related internal and external Audit and regulatory findings.

Skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience: minimum of 5+ years in credit management or related areas within the Private Banking or financial services industry.
- Policy Development: Proven experience in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures, including a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of credit risk management principles, Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and credit assessment skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience with Temenos T24 core banking system a plus.
