**Developer Backup and Storage**

**Overview**:
Join our forward-thinking squad as a Mid-level Developer, where you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of Backup and Storage services. This squad is dedicated to creating efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions for data backup and storage management. If you have a
- passion for data management and possess expertise in Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, Bash/Shell scripting, we invite you to contribute to the success and evolution of our storage services.

**1. Software Development**:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions to enhance backup and storage serviceswithin the squad.
- Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimization.

**2. Automation and Orchestration**:

- Utilize Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting to automate and orchestrate backup and storage processes.
- Implement automated workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) to enhance service scalability and reliability.

**3. Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional team members, including architects, system administrators, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to foster effective collaboration within the squad.
- Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the collective expertise of the team.

**4. Documentation**:

- Document code, scripts, and configurations thoroughly to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer within the squad.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for backup and storage services.

**Qualifications**:
**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of backup and storage technologies and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage) is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a developer, with a focus on backup and storage services.
- Proven track record of working in a collaborative and agile development environment.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Requirements**:

- Must fulfil the requirements to obtain an EU security clearance
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
