**About the role...**:
- Defining, acquiring, managing, and scientifically contributing to projects in the area of 6G communication systems
- Coordinating a team of Research Associates (PostDocs)
- Contributing to the teaching curriculum offering in the SnT strategic areas of Space, Cybersecurity and Autonomous systems

**Your profile...**:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on information, communication, signal processing, networking or quantum theory
- More than 4 years international postdoctoral relevant work and research experience
- Documented research expertise in 6G communications
- Proven track record in carrying a leading role in research project acquisition and management
- Proven track record in publishing high quality research outputs in the top 10% transactions and journals
- Experience in managing and building up research teams and delivering research results
- Experience in research collaboration with industrial partners
- Prior experience in teaching university-level courses
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
- Commitment, team working and a critical mind

- Antenna Array Design & Prototyping
- Semantic & Task-oriented Communications
- Intersection of communication, sensing and positioning systems
- Quantum Communications
- Optical Communications
Being expert in a number of the following mathematical tools:
- Multivariate statistical analysis
- Convex/non-convex optimization
- Machine Learning (generative, spatiotemporal, graph-based approaches)
- Graph theory
