**Report to Finance Change Director** The Finance Business Analyst (FBA) will play a critical role in Aztec's Finance change which is part of a wider transformation programme for the business. The FBA contributes by working with the Finance Change Director to identify areas in which change will add value, for instance, process, people, data model and systems change and assessing potential impact from current state. The FBA will also help to plan effective change strategies, and contribute to their successful implementation and measurement. **Key responsibilities**: - Create process designs for finance processes, focusing on automation and simplification/standardisation - Develop and run workshops with business and finance users to develop process design, understand and identify process improvements that meet required business outcomes - Develop functional requirements for systems selection and implementation - Develop data models for finance eg. Review and update the Chart of Accounts - Assist in redesigning Finance MI reports - Work with technical consultants to configure new finance systems - Support with testing across finance and end-to-end processes for finance systems - Work collaboratively with the project team, and stakeholders to define and agree a business case, business outcomes and KPIs that can measure success for tactical initiatives - Ensure "to-be" processes are mapped and SMEs and leaders are engaged to deliver defined improvements and measurable business outcomes - Deliver key communication content and training materials to ensure effective implementation - Take ownership of new ways of working on go-live and perform the required tasks at all project stages including design, build, data migration, delivery, and implementation - Support the change agenda. **Skills, knowledges, expertise**: - Part or fully qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. - Previous finance change experience is essential, with a background in financial services preferred, but not essential. - Be able to inspire to bring people on the "journey" and have effective stakeholder management experience. - Can demonstrate cross functional and collaborate working and partnering. - Strong IT skills, familiarity with finance software, tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
