As Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Corporate department of the MOHAWK Group and will be responsible for accounting matters across the key ledgers, compliance and project coordination. We are a dynamic team which strives to provide high quality support to the different corporate departments of the MOHAWK Group. To support the continuous growth of the MOHAWK Group, the Corporate department is seeking reinforcements and we are looking for a pragmatic, dynamic and enthusiastic accounting professional to help support our businesses and the Finance Manager. **Essential Job Responsibilities**: **Accounting** - Maintaining operational accounting across the key ledgers; - Supporting the monthly closing and reporting processes; - Ensuring financial information is reported, reconciled and maintained in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures; - Advising and educating the local accountants on a variety of finance related matters; - Becoming a key user in keeping customized ERP reports correct and updated; - Preparing interim and statutory accounts (Lux GAAP, IFRS knowledge is considered as an asset); - Creating amortization and interest schedules; - Coordinating accounting projects. **Corporate Projects** - Delivering financial information (e.g. interim annual accounts, etc.) to tax and legal; - Liaising and cooperating with external consultants; - Coordinating process flows; - Drafting and reviewing legal documentation; - Preparing board meetings; - Following up on compliance processes; - Maintain corporate compliance tools. **Specific Responsibilities** - Deputise for the Finance Manager as appropriate; - Monthly and annual VAT filings. Including compliance with local VAT regulations in relation to output and input purchase VAT recovery; - Review and manage IC reconciliations; - Ensure adequate documentation of local processes and procedures are in place and maintained; - Close cooperation with the in-house tax team for all tax compliance matters relating to the local Luxembourg legal entities. **The requested qualifications for this job include**: - Preferably Bachelor or Master in Accounting; - At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the operating business, fiduciary or domiciliation environment in Luxembourg is expected - Financial Services experience and LUX GAAP experience will be considered as a plus - Fluency in English is a pre-requisite (written and verbal skills), French and German will be considered as an asset - Willingness and consistency to work towards a related professional qualification - Eligibility to work in Luxembourg - Creativity and good problem-solving skills - Strong analytical skills - Interpersonal, communication and writing skills - Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment - Adherence to standard accounting principles and company procedures - Ability to work as part of a team but also on your own when required - No 9-5 mentality - Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines - Enthusiasm to face new challenges and learn new skills - Willingness to work flexibly and travel if required (< 4%) **OFFER**: Unilin Group is a fast-growing, profitable and bustling group that is active internationally.
