As an independent Alternative Investment Fund Manager wholly owned by its partners, our client has raised more than €4 Billion in capital with an international team of more than 50 collaborators who strongly follow ESG goals.
**Key responsibilities**
- Investment Opportunity Origination:
- Generating a stream of investment prospects aligned with the company’s strategy
- Nurturing investment and partnership prospects in the lower mid-market infrastructure sector
- Portfolio Oversight:
- Being the main point of contact for portfolio company management
- Monitoring portfolio company performance
- Fostering best practices and identifying/assessing value-creation projects
- Collaborating with portfolio company management to develop transformational growth plans
- Supporting management teams in executing development strategies (e.g. investment validation, add-on acquisitions, non-core divestments, financing, etc.)
- Building strong relationships with all stakeholders (management, partners, advisors, financing providers, etc.)
- Providing board representation
- Transaction Execution:
- Assessing targets/due diligence
- Negotiating shareholder agreements and SPAs
- Coordinating with advisors and internal processes
- Leadership:
- Mentoring junior team members in executing deals and overseeing assets
- Supporting the partners in managing the team
- Internal Team Support.:
- Supporting other departments, including finance, IR, and ESG teams.
**Ideal Profile**
- A minimum of 12 years of M&A experience (Investment Director) or 9 years (Senior Investment Manager) on the buy-side and/or sell-side.
- Excellent people and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Strong understanding of infrastructure sectors
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- A solid academic background in finance, business management, or a related field
- Fluency in English, with a good level of French and potentially other European languages
