Role/ Department
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned depositary clients, specializing in Luxembourg Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
- Monitor fund activities and proactively provide technical and operational guidance.
- Ensure all actions comply with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support and advise Northern Trust partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Deliver depositary operation services to large and moderately complex funds, performing the cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping and general oversight duties.
- Oversee investment restrictions and maintain breach registers.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of fund regulations.
- Prepare and support fund board papers, seeking guidance on technical issues when necessary.
- Attend board meetings alongside Team Leaders and Managers.
- Participate in onboarding meetings for new clients.
- Interact with committees and senior management as required.
- Facilitate discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Functional and industry knowledge of depositary operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills and systems knowledge.
- College or university degree, or relevant work experience.
- Industry qualification (e.g., ACCA, Diploma in Mutual Funds) or currently studying towards one.
