**Tasks**:

- Business-Focused Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Production, HR and Operations teams to understand business challenges and develop BI solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Extract, analyze, and visualize data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) to improve business processes and decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support executive decision-making.
- Present data-driven insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including executives and department heads.
- Data Modeling, Excel & Visualization:
- Develop and optimize data models to ensure accurate reporting and performance efficiency.
- Use DAX, SQL, and Power Query for data transformation and analysis.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, Power Query, Macros, VBA, Data Analysis, etc.) for deep data analysis.
- Ensure reports and dashboards follow best practices in data visualization for clear and effective storytelling.
- Collaboration with Business Departments:
- Marketing: Analyze campaign performance, customer segmentation, and return on investment (ROI) metrics.
- Sales: Track sales performance, revenue trends, customer behavior, and forecasting.
- HR: Provide workforce analytics, employee engagement trends, and attrition predictions.
- Production & Operations: Monitor production efficiency, supply chain KPIs, and inventory optimization.
- ERP System Integration & Data Governance:
- Extract and analyze data from ERP systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Work with IT and Data Engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and improve ETL processes.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Presentation & Communication:
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for stakeholders.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Facilitate data-driven discussions in business meetings and decision-making forums.

**Required skills and competence**:

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling).
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, Macros, VBA, Data Analysis, etc.)
- Experience working with data warehouses, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of data visualization is the best practices.
- Business & Analytical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations metrics.
- Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience in forecasting, trend analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Soft Skills & Presentation Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
