**Job Description**:
We are looking for a **Sr Lead, Digital Factory Experience, **ideally based in one of our manufacturing sites in Europe **(France, Luxembourg or Belgium)**

The Digital Innovation Center of Excellence (DICE) drives strategic value and competitive advantage through the evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies. The Digital Factory Experience Domain seeks technologies that will automate, integrate, and optimize manufacturing processes, shortening cycle times, improving product quality, and implementing efficiency across our operations. The Senior leader of this domain will assist in developing the strategy, ideating and prioritizing innovation ideas, and carrying out proofs of concept in collaboration with the extended IT and non-IT partners. Fostering open communication and active collaboration within and across IT and business units is critical for success. This is senior level individual contributor role in a heavily matrixed organization and requires excellent leadership and influencing skills
- Assist in development of Smart Factory and Factory 4.0 strategies for the business divisions.
- Research and assess emerging technologies that can accelerate and support the company’s digital factory experience technology agenda, and explore ways to improve the existing technology processes and challenge the status quo.
- Identify opportunities to unlock new operational benefits enabled by Industry 4.0 Technologies (e.g. Improved asset efficiency, Improved quality, reduced cost, Improved safety and sustainability)
- Be a thought leader, play an evangelist role in communicating the value of improving factory experience with digital technologies
- Conduct business analysis, plan and facilitate workshops to understand Avery Dennison key challenges/problems and prioritize ideas for digital innovation
- Lead execution of proofs of concept
- Build and manage collaborative relationships with vendors, partners and suppliers to support emerging technology initiatives
- Collaborate with the larger DICE team and IT Leadership to provide input to help evolve the overall DICE strategy and framework.

**Qualifications**:

If the answer is yes, you have the following profile:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ year’s relevant experience with 3+ years working in a global and matrix environment in a technology role.
- ** 5+ years of manufacturing technology solutions analysis and implementation experience (e.g. ERP, MES etc.)**:

- Knowledge of capabilities within production management or maintenance processes, including supply chain operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, build relationships and work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating and delivering compelling presentations to executive audiences inside and outside the company
- Demonstrated experience introducing new and innovative technologies that enable improved business performance across a variety of functions.
