To support the Sourcing activities for ArcelorMittal business units based in Europe for HRC, CRC, HDG, PPGI and Plates steel products.
Follow-up with suppliers & customers, coordinating production & logistics status with the different stakeholders up to ensure contract updates, orders & shipping documentation aspects, while respecting the rules & procedures defined.
**Responsibilities**
- Managing existing key suppliers and developing operating plans/strategies to further expand the Supplier base.
- Further penetrating new business opportunities with suppliers and relevant third parties, building professional relationship to maximize the opportunities for the business.
- Providing regular and timely reports regarding market and competitor situation, sourcing opportunities, business done by competitors; monitoring customer and supplier performance and recommending action plans to enhance performance/achievements.
- Generating RFQ and/or monthly, quarterly planning with AM Downstream Solutions Business unit procurement manager/team.
- Work on spot RFQs for offers.
- Liaise with ArcelorMittal International Asia team to obtain multiple offers, compose and present them to buyers.
- Complete RFQ to offers, conversion to orders, orders to execution (pre and post-sales).
- Contracts management towards customers.
- Preparing the documentation for orders (BL, MTC, packing list etc).
- MIS for enquiries, RFQs, orders, delivery performance etc.
- Time to time, interact with supplier teams to align terms and conditions.
**Profile**
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Masters in Business preferably in International Trade, is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years in similar roles in Steel sector, preferred 7-10 years.
- Familiarity with flat steel products, international trade flows, trade documentation.
- MIS, database proficiency.
- Experience in steel industry is a must.
- English proficiency is a must.
- Working knowledge of French/German/Spanish/ any Asian language will be added advantage.
- Attention to details, preciseness, and accuracy.
- Strong Commercial Acumen.
- Exceptional team player.
- Fast thinking, excellent communicator, and good negotiator.
