We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled API Management Specialist to join our dynamic team.

**Your missions**:
You configure and manage API gateways to handle API traffic efficiently and securely.

You implement security policies such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and rate limiting to protect APIs from unauthorized access and abuse.

You monitor API gateway performance, scalability, and availability, and optimize configurations as needed.

You manage the entire lifecycle of APIs from creation to retirement, including versioning, deprecation, and sunsetting.

You coordinate with development teams to onboard new APIs onto the API management platform and ensure proper governance and compliance.

You perform regular reviews and audits of APIs to ensure adherence to organizational standards and policies.

You implement security measures to safeguard APIs and sensitive data, such as encryption, tokenization, and threat protection.

You monitor API traffic, usage patterns, and performance metrics to identify potential issues and optimize API performance.

You set up monitoring alerts and dashboards to track key API metrics, such as latency, error rates, and throughput.

You analyze API usage data to gain insights into user behavior, trends, and business opportunities.

**Your Profile**:
You hold a Master's degree and have at least 2 years of relevant experience as API Management Specialist

You can speak and write fluently in English

You have very strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and other API protocols.

You have knowledge of API management platforms such as Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or others, being Azure API Management a big plus compared to the others.

You are familiar with web services technologies such as XML, JSON, and WSDL.

You have good understanding of security protocols and standards such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API keys.

You have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

You have knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

You have knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.

You have experience with version control systems such as Git.

You are proficient in using API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.

You have experience working with API management platforms and configuring API gateways.

You have knowledge of API design best practices and principles.

You have experience with troubleshooting and debugging API-related issues.

You are familiar with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
