**Job Description**:
Our client is looking for a Due Diligence and Oversight Officer to join their Depositary Team. You will have experiences in oversight and control within financial services, perhaps from an Audit or Depository background with good understand of AIFM regulations.
Our client is a large and growing business, which has a dynamic and innovative culture, renowned for its investment in people and strong client service delivery. Our client offers a proactive environment. There is a hybrid working model and a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Manager to support and develop a due diligence and oversight framework on Central Administration, Custody and Management Companies/AIFMs. This might include but not be limited to facilitating due diligence questionnaires, and risk assessments; ensuring correct reporting and internal governance over process
- Effecting due diligence and service level reviews which could be on site or remotely managed, facilitating questions that arise and providing required support in order to finalize due diligence assessment
- Support Manager in preparation of required reporting
- Work with Manager to continuously improve depositary due diligence and oversight controls and associated internal governance
- Help with regulatory or ad hoc projects that may impact due diligence and oversight controls
- Experience in similar oversight and control environment either within Audit or Depositary
- Good practical knowledge of working in depositary with alternative funds (private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure)
- Good control, governance and risk management skills as well as strong analytic and project management skills
- Interest in and knowledge of regulations that impact alternative funds and depositary services as well as AIFM understanding
- Fluent English is essential, good knowledge of other European languages a plus
