Cards Fraud Prevention & Claims Management Officer - VISA

As part of the reinforcement of its Payments department, ING Luxembourg is looking for a VISA officer from March for an open-ended contract.

The Visa department is part of the Payments department, which is responsible for processing all types of payment at the Bank. In the Visa department, you will be in charge of fraud prevention and the processing of claims relating to payments.

Job description
- Review alerts/incidents relating to suspicious transactions with our customer to confirm or deny whether or not these alerts/incidents are of fraudulent origin;
- Handle customer complaints with a view to rectifying the damage caused & escalate disputes in an efficient and timely manner, i.e. within the agreed deadlines, and to take the necessary steps to recover funds;
- Take charge of the process of preventing and dealing with payment card fraud in collaboration with electronic payment operators;
- Manage fraud-related administrative obligations, such as regulatory and other reporting, in accordance with internal procedures in line with Visa Inc. policies and our legal or law enforcement obligations;
- Directing customers to the appropriate services.

**Profile**:

- Competencies/Behaviour_ :_
- Fluency in French and in English is mandatory, knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German will be considered an important asset.
- Ability to take initiatives, responsibilities and anticipate;
- Effective communication skills to convey safety concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Rigor & precision;
- Customer/result orientation;
- Strong team spirit;
- Ability to learn and transmit it;
- Keep abreast of new threats and new security technologies to better understand fraud;
- Experience:_
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on economics, finance or sciences.;
- Around 2+ years in similar matter;
- Experience with card schemes or mindset for Anti Fraud domain;
- Ability to work with different computer systems/programs;
- Knowledge of banking environment is appreciated.
