**Research Associates in Economics (Postdoc, f/m/d)**

- LISER invites highly qualified and motivated applicants for the position of Research Associate (Postdoc) within its Labour Market Department. The department has a strong focus in policy evaluation and econometric methods; new technologies and the evolution of skill needs and skill choices; migration, climate change and work-related inequalities.

**Your role**:
The Research Associate will be asked to:

- produce excellent research output, which can be published in high-ranked, peer-reviewed journals ;
- contribute to the submission of grant proposals (external funding) ;
- develop and perform evaluations of policy measures ;
- participate in public outreach activities like policy briefs, round tables, social media communication, and take part in the day-to-day department-related activities (workshops, lecture series, etc.).

**Your profile**:

- Ph.D. in economics or econometrics, ideally with a focus in labour economics or related fields ;
- Strong interest in economics, econometrics and quantitative methods ;
- Excellent quantitative skills and hands-on experience working with data ;
- Excellent writing skills for scientific and more policy-oriented purposes are required ;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills ;
- Skills in programming (R, Python), machine learning and data science are a plus ;
- Excellent verbal communication and academic writing skills in English ;
- Enthusiasm for research, critical thinking and working in an interdisciplinary and very international team.
