**Our client:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join one of our clients in the fund industry near Luxembourg.
**The primary focus of this role will be on due diligence and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance **.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence on potential investors and partners in accordance with AML laws and regulations
- Review and analyze documentation and information related to potential investors and partners
- Identify and report any potential red flags or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
- Develop and implement AML policies and procedures for the Management Company
- Provide training and education to staff on AML compliance
- Monitor and review transactions for potential AML violations
- Stay up-to-date on current AML laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the company on any changes or updates
**Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. finance, law, compliance)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role, with a focus on due diligence and AML
- Strong understanding of AML laws and regulations, particularly in the fund industry
- Experience conducting due diligence and identifying potential red flags
- **Fluency in German and English languages**:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance management systems is a plus.
