One of Luxinnovation’s activities is to support companies looking for national funding for their research, development and innovation activities, as well as for their sustainability investments.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Meet with companies seeking financial support for their R&D and innovation activities, or environmental investments: carry out structured interview to help companies formulate their needs and share relevant feedback regarding available State aids with the support of Luxinnovation.
- Help companies assess their generic eligibility for State aids: technical and financial due diligence of the applicant company, in relation with the considered R&D activities or environmental project.
- Coordinate calls for projects (thematic funding calls initiated by the Ministries to support specific projects defined in a “call text” to be submitted by companies or consortia) together with granting authorities: co-design the call steps and timeline and ensure timely communication to companies and research organisations, as well as structured coordination of all institutional stakeholders.
- Promote national funding programmes for R&D and innovation activities as well as for environmental investments: elaborate communication material, organise webinars or promotion campaigns, act as speaker or moderator during State aid related events.
- Stay up to date with new EU and national regulations on State aid, national strategies related to R&D and sustainability, and key national stakeholders (companies, public research organisations, and other institutions).
- Be a source of proposals to develop new projects, tools, and services.
- Actively contribute to coaching new recruits and interns.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Holder of a master's degree in economics, finance, business management or a dual scientific/business profile.
- Professional experience of at least 5 years in corporate finance: including ideally in State aids for enterprise, or European funding for companies, or any corporate finance activities gained in banking, audit, consulting, or within a company’s financial department.
- Be able to manage several complex files efficiently and independently.
- Strong skills in financial analysis.
- Perfect command of at least 2 of the following languages: English, French, German (oral and written). Luxembourgish is considered as a strong asset.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to produce summary notes.
- General knowledge of project management.
- Relational ease allowing you to interact with partners at relevant ministries, financial partners, and business managers.
- Be organised, flexible and autonomous and have excellent listening and analytical skills.

Education Master Experience 5+ years
