Accountant - Inhouse

HI Partners is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join a team as an Accountant in a prestigious company located in Luxembourg. As an Accountant, you will have the primary responsibility of conducting daily accounting activities for the group. These activities will include bookkeeping entries, control reconciliations, and other tasks in alignment with the defined business operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Expertly handling and meticulously documenting invoices received from suppliers
- Efficiently managing and thoroughly documenting payments made to suppliers
- Mastering the reconciliation of the balance sheet and other financial accounts
- Managing transactions related to cash movement flawlessly
- Proactively assisting the Financial Controller with month-end processes
- Proficiently supporting the Financial Controller throughout the audit procedure
- Thoroughly collecting data for audit samples
- Skillfully preparing accurate financial statements
- Playing a pivotal role in the billing process and issuance of sales invoices

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Experience with BOB is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg accounting regulations is a plus.
