Within the R&D Tool Maker Inserts team, we are looking for an intern for 6 months. Depending on the progress of the internship, additional assignments may be added.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Involvement on innovative research projects for new cutting tools- Execution of trials, analyses in the lab and subsequent evaluation- Support for R&D engineers in their daily work- Preparation of technical documentation and presentations- Participate and contribute to project meetings

PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS- Being enrolled in Bachelor / Master in Mechanical Engineering, Material sciences, Business Engineering with focus on Mechanical engineering, Materials science or similar- Knowledge in the field of cemented carbide & coatings is an asset- Good MS Office skills- Willing to perform hands on lab activities- Ability to think outside the box, problem solving & communication skills- Commitment & self-initiative- Friendly & confident appearance- Independent working method and analytical way of thinking- Languages : Speaking fluently English and either basic German or French. Any other language is an asset
