**Summary**:
**Director of Business Development**

Funds Talent are currently working with a European leading software provider who work in the digitalization the Corporate Services, Trust and Alternative Fund administration market, as they currently seek a **Director of Business Development** to help expand their product across Europe.

Answering to the Head of Global Sales, this role will maintain and build upon existing relationships in addition to driving new business. The role is weighted **60% existing client development, and 40% new business development.**

**Key requirements**:

- Prepare and execute a territory sales plan
- Start and manage the full sales cycle
- Assist in market research and build perspective client profiles.
- Perform competition analysis.
- Negotiate, or assist in the negotiations
- Ensure professional engagement with the prospective client.
- Identify new market and growth opportunities.
- Maintain all documentation as required.

**Must Haves**
- Understanding of B2B selling of SaaS software with a proven track record of sales and achievement of sales target.
- Thorough understanding of IT processes and implementations from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English

**Salary competitive, with large OTE Commission structure.
