As a Service Transition Manager, you will be responsible for smoothly transitioning services from projects, releases, and acquisitions into operations in line with best practices. You will liaise with project managers, design teams, operations teams (Service Desk, Infrastructure, Applications etc.) and our strategic partners to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of new or changing services. In your first few weeks in this Service Transition Manager role, you can expect to: - Act as a gatekeeper function that ensures effective transfer from projects to operations in compliance with the operational readiness review process for all new or changing services - Provide fully documented Service Acceptance Criteria and support models aligned to ITIL best practices - Plan and oversee the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions and services deployed into production - Work with the project management team to establish an end-to-end project plan and transition approach.
