Steel Structure and Crane Runways Expert

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth inspections and assessments of steel structures, including crane runways, beams, and other load-bearing components.
- Evaluate the current condition of crane runway systems, identifying any structural weaknesses, wear, or safety risks.
- Analyze the loading conditions and operational stresses applied to steel structures and crane runways.
- Perform load calculations to determine the structural adequacy and design specifications for current and future operations.
- Assess the expected lifetime of crane runways and related steel infrastructure based on material properties, operational usage, and environmental factors.
- Provide recommendations for maintenance, repairs, or upgrades to improve the safety and functionality of facilities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop plans for upgrades, repairs, or replacement of structural components as needed.
- Review design documentation and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings, including photographic evidence, load analysis, and recommendations.
- Support project management teams by providing technical expertise and feasibility studies for new facility developments or upgrades.
- Advise on best practices for operational load management and long-term structural care of steel components.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in structural assessment, with a specific focus on steel structures and crane runways.
- Deep knowledge of load-bearing design, structural analysis, and material science related to crane systems.
- Proven experience in evaluating structural integrity and lifespan of industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and inspection procedures for crane runways and steel infrastructure.
- Ability to perform detailed structural calculations and produce comprehensive analysis reports.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000) and structural modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to management and technical teams.
