Our finance and accounting plays a significant role in the company by providing financial reports and synthesis documents in compliance with the applicable accounting framework. It has a strategic importance in analyzing and solving any data-analytics issues that may occur during operations.

The Tax accountant would support the team by the development of the internal tax controls and the study of European aviation taxes. He will also facilitate the flow of information between Global Jet and its partners.

**Responsibilities & Missions**:

- Perform tax activities, from the collection of data, control, review until reporting to the tax/customs office
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and payments in various jurisdictions
- Be in relation with Tax Advisor as well as Legal Auditor
- Anticipate, assist and follow Tax Audit
- Prepare mandatory or any necessary paperwork for administration queries
- Identify tax savings
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company
- Analyse internal accounting and taxes processes. Make propositions/adjustment in order to optimize and make the department more efficient
- Participation to any studies needed by management

Job requirements
- 3 to 5 years of previous experiences in tax accounting (VAT) preferably in the aviation or related industry
- Knowledge of Tax and VAT as well as accounting and bookkeeping
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals
- Fluent in English spoken and written is mandatory
- Proactive, independent, dynamic and rigorous
- Strong PC skills particularly Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Business Central would be an asse
