Junior Oracle Database Specialist

**THE ROLE**

Are you interested in working in a position providing exposure to the investment fund industry within the environment of a leading international software company, dealing with some of the largest banks and asset managers in the investment fund industry globally, and be an instrumental part of the continued success of our rapidly growing company?
Within the DBA team and attached to the Product And Costumer Support Department, you will be part of a central team serving internal and external customers

**OPPORTUNITIES**
- You will manage incidents and problems for our client's production support.
- You will assist our clients with the Multifonds databases first installation or upgrade.
- You will analyse performance issues
- You will maintain of our in-house database infrastructure.
- You will perform R&D studies on database technology.
- You will take on the supporter of the day rotating duty within the team.
- You will interact with Multifonds development & consulting teams, and with Oracle support when appropriate.
- You will write procedures and documentations.
You will share your expertise with others.

**SKILLS**
- You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a DBA-position
- You should have excellent English, both written and spoken
- You should know French with B1 level
- You should have University degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- You should have experience with the Oracle database
- You should have experience with Cloud platforms appreciated (OCI,AWS and so on)
- You should have experience in operating System such as Linux/UNIX including scripting
- You should have a good understanding of server grade hardware will be considered as an asset
- You should have knowledge of ITIL
- You should be a team player
- You should have a client oriented mindset
- You should be resilient under pressure
- You should have good presentation and communication skills
- You should be autonomous, rigorous, well organized
- You should be eager to learn and discover beyond the scope of the database.
- You should be ready to travel for business trips
- You should be available to provide on-call support on weekends for our clients.
- You should have the ability to prioritize tasks properly
- You should have strong motivation to continuously increase quality and efficiency
You should have previous successful experience in support organization (will be considered as an asset)
