- We're looking for a **Recommendation System Expert**(Senior ML Engineer - Personalization & Recommender Systems) to join our core ML team and help shape the future of personalized content discovery. You will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of real-time recommender systems used by millions of users across our video streaming and tube platform. Your impact will be seen directly in engagement, retention, and revenue metrics.

What You’ll Do**:

- Lead the design and productionization of recommender system models (collaborative, content-based, hybrid, session-based).
- Translate high-level business objectives into machine learning solutions that drive impact.
- Prototype, experiment with, and deploy algorithms using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks.
- Take ownership of **end-to-end model lifecycles** — from feature engineering to deployment and performance monitoring.
- Continuously evaluate and tune models using **online (A/B testing, bandits)** and **offline metrics**.
- Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists to improve personalization strategies.
- Scale model serving and experimentation infrastructure using **modern MLOps practices**.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong ML culture in the team.
- Stay current with the latest research and help incorporate relevant innovations into production.

**Qualifications**:

- ** 5+ years** of hands-on experience in machine learning with a strong focus on recommendation systems, personalization, or ranking.
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, or related field.
- Proven experience in building and deploying **large-scale recommender systems** in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of:

- Top-N recommendation, collaborative filtering (MF, kNN, SVD), content-based filtering
- Hybrid and session-based recommender systems
- Experience with **deep learning-based recommender architectures**:

- Two-Tower, YouTube DNN, DLRM, DCN-v2, DeepFM, EASE/SANSA
- Familiarity with **baseline algorithms** (SR, AR, IKNN, MF)
- Comfortable working with **experimentation infrastructure** (AB tests, canary deployments, MABs)
- Solid understanding of **MLOps and model serving**, including:

- ** Triton Inference Server, BentoML, KServe on Kubernetes, Ray Serve**:

- Monitoring (latency, throughput, data drift), autoscaling, rolling updates
- Experience with **online user embedding pipelines**, ANN search (e.g. Milvus), and feature stores
- Fluency in Python, SQL, Jupyter, and at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Passion for solving hard problems and delivering real-world impact
