**The opportunity**:
**What you'll be doing**:

- Develop backend services and APIs that connect to e-retail platforms and retail media networks
- Build and maintain data pipelines for processing retail media analytics and campaign data
- Participate in architectural discussions for new and existing components
- Implement secure authentication and data access controls
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
- Deploy and maintain services in cloud environments
- Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

**What we want from you**:

- Strong proficiency in Python backend development
- Experience with web frameworks and RESTful API development
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Understanding of database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

**If you know some of this, even better**:

- Existing experience with retail platform APIs (Amazon, Walmart, etc.)
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Understanding of machine learning pipelines and integration
