DESCRIPTION

This job will also require the ability to work independently in a high pressure environment and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and deliver medium to large, cross-functional SAFETY programs that serve major parts of the business. These may also be global in nature.
- Develop, review, approve and improve internal policies and procedures in the respect of the countries WHS legal and Amazon Global Standards requirements.
- Implement and track WHS programs and provide execution support to field operations.
- Drive WHS programs and best practice standardization at both Regional and Global level.
- Recommend improvements to programs scoping, building, testing and deployment across the company.
- Partner with key stakeholders such as RME, Procurement, Learning and Development etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
