Basic Qualifications - BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or other fields with analytical focus - A self-starter that thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates financial acumen and experience delivering quantitative analyses - Analytical, with a passion for learning and delivering innovative customer centric solutions - English language written and oral communication skills with an ability to concisely summarize relevant data and convey results by effectively articulating complex messages - Proven ability to develop relationships with business partners - Proven ability to solve complex problems and perform root cause analyses, prioritizing workload and achieving effective results within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment - Intermediate or advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Analyst to support our EU Middle Mile transportation network, ATS. We are continuously innovating on behalf of Amazon customers to deliver larger selection quicker and at lower prices. This role involves being a part of high visibility team in charge of capital investments into middle-mile network. You will partner with the business, execution, and procurement teams across transportation on specific projects and strategic initiatives to reduce costs, improve speed and quality of deliveries as well as with finance teams on valuation methodologies and creation of robust governance processes. In this role, you will drive efficiency of capital investments by directly influencing the development, planning, and execution of our transportation network. The role will require quickly learning operations to grasp the big picture and communicate clearly and succinctly in order to effectively collaborate with business leaders and influence decisions. You are a person who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast changing environment. You are able to process complex and, at times, ambiguous data, identifying and addressing key risks and helping operations to develop efficient customer centric solutions. Key job responsibilities - Drive automation initiatives within CapEx space - Build up financial plans for capital investments - Work on cross-functional projects to drive improvements in investment efficiencies - Set the standards of analytical capabilities for investment analysis - Benchmark externally and internally and strive towards being the best About the team "We ensure an optimal long-term use of Amazon capital to drive customers' benefits through lower prices and faster delivery". To execute this Vision, we will act as: - Planner and gatekeeper of Amazon capital funds. - Flight-Control Center of investment strategies and decisions. - Subject Matter Experts in key capital investment domains such as as Real Estate, Construction, Mechanical Handling Systems, and Sustainable technologies. - Center of Excellence with regards to CapEx processes.
