Our client is one of the leading Luxembourg law firms. It provides advice to international and domestic clients in all areas of business law relevant to their business activities, ranging from corporate, fiscal and employment matters to regulatory banking and insurance, capital markets, financing, fund formation, real estate and private equity advice.
It seeks to further strengthen its team with a private equity lawyer with 3 to 6 years’ experience.
**Function**:
As a member of the private equity team, you will advise on:
- Investments, whether by way of private acquisitions, public company takeovers, minority investments or joint ventures (acting for both managers and investors)
- Exits, whether by way of trade sale, IPO or dual-track
- Ongoing work for portfolio companies, including add-on acquisitions, asset sales, refinancing and restructurings
- Platform spin outs
You will draft the necessary contractual documentation, management regulations, prospectuses and articles of incorporation.
**Profile**:
You have a strong academic record in law, ideally completed by a LLM or other postgraduate degree gained abroad;
You have a proven experience of between 3 and 6 years in Private Equity, Asset Management or Real Estate gained in an international law firm or a private equity house;
Your command of German and English are perfect, French is a plus;
You demonstrate a keen interest and enthusiasm to learn about your clients' business;
You can work in a team, sharing knowledge, motivating and coaching juniors and contributing to overall success;
Your legal writing skills are excellent;
You are client focused and innovative in the solutions you deliver to clients; and
You are good at fostering relationships with clients and team members.
