Global Trade Services (GTS) is looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Program Manager who will deliver global risk management solutions for customs valuation compliance.
In this role, you will be part of a new team responsible for the development of the strategies, policies, processes, tools and solutions that anchors our customs valuation risk management programs and; will be a key enabler for myriad cross border programs. You will work closely with different functions including legal, logistics and supply chain, accounting, finance, transfer pricing, business, and Product and Technology teams to continuously improve our customs valuation risk management capability.
Key job responsibilities
- Set objectives, and drive improvements to your space that you quantify with metrics.
- Partner with stakeholders including trade, legal, tax, and finance and accounting to drive development of customs valuation-related policies, processes and solutions.
- Build flexible and scalable solutions across various customized technologies, business models/supply chain arcs, and country regulatory regimes.
- Stay informed on regulations and technologies relevant to your space and bring them into your risk management programs.
- Drive alignment by providing near and long term considerations and impacts, and highlight recommended trade-offs and priorities.
- Work with business intelligence engineers and technology teams to design, build and track key performance indicators and systems.
- Communicate risks, proposals, regulatory updates and strategies to internal and external stakeholders in meetings and documents.

About the team
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Customs Valuation Governance in the Global Trade Services (GTS) function. GTS is responsible for providing global trade and product compliance support for Amazon businesses, creating efficient processes that meet demanding cross border regulations, while minimizing impact to the business.
Luxembourg, LUX
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
