In this role, you will be a vital link between clients and our internal teams, ensuring the seamless execution of customer instructions while building strong relationships in a stimulating and dynamic work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
Client Account Manager
- Act as key contact within the Depositary Bank for all UCIs allocated (UCITS and AIF dealing with alternatives investments).
- Participate to client meetings and understand their needs to ensure a high client quality service.
- Carry out investments: Review contractual documentation, perform relevant checks ex-ante and ex-post (investment eligibility, investment restrictions, timely settlement, etc.).
- Execute Funds’ operations: payments, securities trading, FX, derivatives.
- Liaise with each Fund’s external counterparty and understand their roles: AIFM, TA, FA, Portfolio Managers / Investment Managers, Auditors.
- Liaise with internal counterparties within the Bank: CROs, Middle/Back office, Credit.
- Issue KPI reports and participate to Funds’ Board meetings.
Onboarding
- Assessment of the risks associated with the nature, scale and complexity of the Fund’s strategy.
- Facilitate the operational onboarding of new Funds.
- Draft Depositary and Service Level Agreements, fit to the needs of the Fund.
- Ensure operational setup at Bank level (EMIR / MiFIR reporting, Credit requests etc.).
Safekeeping
- Ensure record-keeping of the Fund and update it timely to reflect investments / divestments.
- Perform annual Ownership Verification.
- Issue yearly Audit Confirmation to Auditors.
Oversight
- NAV: Ensure the NAV is accurately calculated through a series of checks.
- Subscriptions & Redemptions: Reconcile S/R capital movements with proceeds, ensure outstanding shares reconciliation.
- Investment Compliance: Periodic controls over investments compliance of the Fund with its offering documents.
- Timely Settlement: Ensure the transactions (quoted/unquoted) settle timely.
- Income Distribution: Perform controls to ensure the eligibility and accuracy of dividend distributions.
- Carry out due diligences on Funds’ counterparties and perform on-site visits: AIFM, TA, FA.
**Skills And Experience**
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role in the fund industry
- Good understanding of the depositary function and its responsibilities, good knowledge of Luxembourg corporate and fund structures, in depth knowledge of the regulatory environment as applicable to fund depository business (AIFMD, UCITS).
- Excellent proficiency in English and French.
- Proficient in standard IT systems; ability to quickly learn new software.
