Our audit technical department ("Department of Professional Practice" or "DPP") is currently looking for a Manager with primary focus on audit methodology. This unique position will allow you to work closely with audit partners and managers across industries at KPMG Luxembourg, to enjoy high visibility within the firm and to broaden your audit experience with in-depth audit technical knowledge. As part of this role, you will not only be working in a team of experienced professionals in Luxembourg, but you will also collaborate with global KPMG network: KPMG Global technical resource groups (the Global Audit Methodology Group (GAMG), the KPMG Global Solutions Group (KGSG), the International Standards Group (ISG) and the PCAOB Standards Group (PSG). **As an Audit Methodology Manager, you will: - Contribute to building the skills and capabilities of KPMG Luxembourg audit professionals by promoting continuous learning and coaching across the audit function; - Always be at the forefront of the latest developments in the audit profession by having access to exclusive upskilling trainings, presentations and guidance resources and by contributing to the analysis of relevant legal and professional documents; - Leverage on your knowledge and experience to interpret the requirements of the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), incl. the KPMG Audit Execution Guide (KPMG methodology), to participate in discussions and to provide insight to engagement teams on methodology and audit quality matters; - Contribute to the implementation of enhancements to the audit methodology, guidance and tools, which are made regularly to maintain compliance with standards and to address emerging auditing areas of focus and Global and local audit quality results; - Prepare materials for and facilitate on DPP audit methodology technical trainings and presentations delivered to KPMG Luxembourg audit professionals; - Has at least 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably some of it gained as Manager of audit engagement teams; - Holds or is in the process of obtaining a professional qualification (such as IRE, ACCA, ICAS, Wirtschaftsprüfer, etc.) - Has a sound knowledge of ISAs, audit methodology and audit enabling tools, Audit Law and EU audit regulations, including recent developments; - Has strong coaching, facilitation and organizational skills; - Is fluent in English.
