Tasks
- Ensure smooth operation and performance of databases and servers.
- Support developers in database design and query optimization.
- Perform capacity analysis and system evaluations.
- Implement data integrity and security procedures.
- Provide second-level support.
- Prepare technical and management documentation.
- Plan and evolve database and server infrastructure.
- Support business continuity with incident resolution and proactive reliability improvements.
- Conduct cost/benefit analyses for new technology adoption.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree or equivalent required.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix shell scripting.
- Advanced Oracle DB administration (11g or newer).
- Experience with PostgreSQL DB administration.
- Advanced WebLogic (11g or newer) and Business Objects (v3 & v4) administration.
- Experience with Atlassian product administration.
- Knowledge of automation tools (scripting, CI, configuration management).
- Methodical with high attention to coding standards and naming conventions.
**Languages**:
- English: C1/C2 (required)
- French: B2 (advantageous)
**Other Requirements**:
- European citizenship or valid work permit.
