Meraki Talent’s well-known Top 10 practice client is actively seeking a German Speaking Audit Manager to join their team.
**The Location**
Moving to Luxembourg is an attractive option for many expats. Despite its tiny size, the country has a low crime rate, multicultural diversity and it is one of the highest standards of living in the world. In terms of its wealth, Luxembourg's financial industry is key, accounting for more than 35% of GDP. This is due to the growth in the investment fund sector since the launch of cross-border funds which has pushed Luxembourg to 2nd position in the ranking of the world's largest investment fund centre.
**The Role**
This truly a vibrant and diverse team are looking to welcome auditors from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures. You will be joining a dedicated team of over 120 individuals to assist in the full range of services they offer. Your portfolio could consist of both regional and international clients, this will vary based upon your experience.
For a more experienced individual a Senior Manager / Director position can be discussed
- Liaise with senior stakeholders including, managers, directors and partners
- Build strong client relationships, face-to-face, virtually and over the phone
- Supervise and manager the junior members of staff
- Ensure deadlines are met to an efficient standard as set out by the client and the firm
- Expand the current portfolio through networking and the aid of your colleagues
- Represent the firm through external events
**The Requirements**
- A university degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years’ experience within external audit
- Partly of fully qualified in accountancy (CA, CPA, ACCA etc.)
- Fluent in both German and English (French would be considered an asset)
- EU or Luxembourg right to work
