ABOUT THE JOB l What will you do? ABOUT YOU l What’s your background?
As a Corporate Finance Officer, you will be responsible
for the following activities:
- Coordinate the delivery and review of information
received from various stakeholders during due
diligence and other Q&A processes
- Prepare marketing material and slide decks for
investor presentations
- Conduct analyses to project the bank’s funding costs
and calculate the cost of capital
- Establish budget for debt issuances and monitor
expenses vs budget
- Manage regular reporting to lenders in relation to
collateralised loans
- Monitor the expected call dates and covenants of
debt instruments and analyse their performance in
the secondary market
- Establish action plans for new debt issuances and
monitor proper execution of the defined plans
- Provide support with audit activities in relation to
funding instruments
- Analyse new funding options available to the bank
and formulate recommendations
- Support the design and implementation of strategies
to manage excess liquidity
- Conduct market analyses to benchmark the bank
against its peers
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance,
Banking or Financial Engineering, or an equivalent degree
- Experience as a financial analyst/consultant, debt/capital
market advisor, treasurer or in a similar position, ideally
with an exposure to the banking environment, is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and good understanding of the
financial statements
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office,
especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SQL or other standard language to work
with databases would be an asset
- CFA certification or similar is a plus
