**Research information Officer for Science Operations**:
The role of the Science office (SO) at the LIH is to accompany the development and implementation of the research strategy of the institution. In order to fulfil its mission, the SO has further developed the research information management processes within the LIH and implemented a new Research Information System. We seek to recruit a Research Information Manager whose role will be to support the SO in the management, monitoring and dissemination of information on the various research activities that are ongoing at the LIH.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Support the maintenance of the LIH Research information system and related information sources
- Support Science Administration and operations units by:

- Supporting the information flow throughout the implementation of individual projects
- Guiding and checking the project data entry: guide the data input, control its quality, clean up and check for data errors. Draft and update the documents and guidelines linked to the data management
- Generating reports and data extractions to support the management of research projects, research strategy processes and evaluation exercises.
- Performing regular data quality checks to control the data consistency and setup QM reports to decrease data discrepancies to the minimum.
- Liaising with key support teams such as Finance, Legal, Purchasing, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Communications, Facilities
- Participate in initiatives to set-up interoperability between data management systems relevant for science operations
- Liaise with IT services to maintain, integrate and develop Information systems that support science operations

**Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, science or related field..
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in data management or analysis.
- Ability to decipher and organize large amounts or complex sets of data.
- Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team-orientated, collaborative environment.
- Ability to effectively and independently organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Full proficiency in English. German, French and/or Luxembourguish are considered as an advantage.
