Join our team as Head of Client Onboarding

**What you will be working on**

As Head of Client Onboarding, you will lead our client acceptance and due diligence function, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and fostering a strong risk management culture. Your role will be critical in overseeing onboarding processes while guiding teams through evolving regulatory frameworks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and overseeing client onboarding processes to ensure compliance with KPMG policies and Luxembourg regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and approving client acceptance and continuance assessments to uphold the highest risk management standards.
- Providing expert guidance and training to engagement teams on AML and client due diligence regulations.
- Monitoring regulatory developments at EU and local levels and implementing necessary adaptations.
- Developing robust policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive strategic improvements in onboarding processes.
- Acting as a key advisor to leadership on risk management and compliance matters.

**What we look for**

To thrive in this role, you should have:

- A Master’s degree or higher in finance, law, compliance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in client onboarding, risk management, or compliance within a financial institution, Big 4, or similar environment.
- Deep knowledge of Luxembourg AML laws and international best practices.
- Strong understanding of KPMG’s Risk and AML policies & procedures.
- Experience working with CEAC, Sentinel, and client identification tracking tools.
- Fluency in English and French; other languages are a plus.
- A strategic mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
