**Your role**:

- Carry out research in the field of Data Anonymization and Synthetic Data Generation, such as:

- Research state-of-the-art anonymization techniques
- Analyze and assess risks of de-anonymization, including researching current de-anonymization strategies
- Investigate synthetic data generation methods and their utility
- Deploying and benchmarking the above-mentioned methods
- Provide guidance to PhD students
- Disseminate results through scientific publications
- Prepare research proposals to attract industry partnerships as well as national and European grant projects
- Manage research projects and prepare project deliverables
- Provide guidance to Master students and PhD students who submit work to conferences or journals

**Your profile**:

- PhD degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or transdisciplinary research projects and related research methods (e.g., design science research)
- Experience in publishing high-quality research, as demonstrated by research under review or published in 1stquartile conferences and journals (according to Scopus)
- Experience in research supervision
- A collaborative team player with a desire to make a personal impact within our interdisciplinary research group
- The commitment to participate in the design, implementation, and theoretical elaboration of high-quality solutions that solve significant problems
- Self-initiative, creativity, curiosity, flexibility and enthusiasm to work
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of French, German, and Luxembourgish is not required
