Job purpose:_**
The Compliance Officer will work in the team which is responsible for intra-group communication and oversight within the Compliance Department. With the support of the Head of Compliance department and direct supervisors, your work will involve ensuring that Bank of China Group and Luxembourg Compliance rules and regulations are implemented in the Bank and its affiliates.
**_ Your responsibilities will be:_**
- Maintain an effective communication with the head office of Bank of China Limited and ensures that head office reports are sent on a timely manner
- Support and work with the Compliance officers of the Bank’s European cross border branches in relation to Compliance matters such as Compliance reports and adherence to Compliance regulations
- Assist in the preparation of reports and relevant procedures.
- Participate in project management with regards to the implementation of new regulations and rules.
- Carry out ad-hoc Compliance controls and checks
**Qualifications**:
**_
Profile (Technical Skills):_**
- Excellent Chinese language skills and fluent in English (read, write and speak)
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations relating the Banking sector
- Proficient in Microsoft office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Other IT skills will be an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Compliance or other fields such as audit, consulting etc in the finance industry

- Good communication skills including report writing skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Committed, self-motivated and with strong work ethic.
- Analytical mind and ability to synthesize
