We are looking for a **Senior Cybersecurity Specialist**to strengthen the IT security operations and governance of a leading European financial institution in **Luxembourg**.
In this senior generalist role you will be expected to **provide expert recommendations,** **oversee processes, coordinate with internal and external parties** and **draft and** **review reports and documentation**.

**Job description**:
**We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist who will be able to**:

- Analyse and follow up on security reports (SOC alerts, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, incident investigations)
- Support cybersecurity governance activities: maturity assessments, audits, compliance (NIST CSF, ISO 2700x, DORA, GDPR)
- Draft and review security-related documentation such as policies, procedures, and documentation
- Provide input to business continuity and disaster recovery exercises
- Advise on cloud and Microsoft 365 / Azure security practices
- Support awareness and training initiatives to strengthen the security culture
- Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders

**Profile**:
**Experience - Requirements**
- ** 12+ years of experience** in ICT, including at least 6 in cybersecurity
- Experience in both governance (policies, audits, compliance) and operations (SOC, vulnerability management, incident response oversight)

**Soft Skills**
- ** Fluent in English** (French, Italian, or German are assets).
- ** Excellent analytical and documentation skills**, with the ability to transform complex reports into clear and actionable insights
- ** Strong communication and coordination abilities**, ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners
- ** A high level of integrity and discretion**, with proven capacity to handle confidential and business-sensitive information responsibly
