Contracting & Product Manager (M/F)

For our department _Product Management_** **within **LuxairTours**, we are looking for a (an):
**_Contracting & Product Manager (M/F)_**

**_Main duties:_**
- Manage, plan and develop a portfolio of touristic destinations
- Actively negotiate and sign commercial contracts of different accommodation suppliers and other third parties at destination
- Constantly negotiate last minute / special offers from suppliers in relation to the market demand, the flight occupancy and/or responding to requests from the yield & revenue management department
- Prepare, work out and propose a business plan per season for your destinations
Increase the efficiency, profitability and the turnover on your destinations according to individual objectives
- Have a good knowledge and affinity of the digital contracting environment and its best practices
- Understand the implications of external market dynamics and competitor activity on the business
- Be willing to travel on regular basis to your destinations for duty purposes
- Constantly analyse the competition, the markets and the suppliers on your destinations
- Prepare & conduct occasional projects, workshops and concept development
- Control and validate the commercial presentation of the product pages of each off
- & online channel
- Control the quality of the offered products on your destinations, in cooperation with the quality department
- Maintain and strengthen business relationships with your suppliers
- Prepare and provide different documents related to the products and the purchasing process
- Be the main contact for your destinations and products for all internal departments and stakeholders
- Ensure the different administrative tasks related to the department.
- **_ Missions :_**
- Gérer, planifier et développer les produits dans les destinations qui lui sont attribuées y inclus les déplacements sur place pour négocier et signer les contrats avec différents fournisseurs dans le but d’augmenter le rendement et le chiffre d’affaires de ces destinations selon les objectifs annuels définis et les procédures en vigueur
- Elaborer et proposer un business plan par saison et analyser la concurrence, le marché et le produit de manière continue pour chaque destination sous sa responsabilité
- Etablir les descriptions et sélectionner les photos pour les catalogues été/hiver ainsi que les listes de prix. Approuver le lay-out proposé par le service production
- Contrôler la qualité des produits offerts dans ses destinations et le cas échéant visiter les destinations pour entretenir et approfondir les relations avec les partenaires d’hôtels
- Fournir des documents sur l’évolution des prix négociés plus des autres documents relatifs à l’opération de la production et de l’achat.
- Etre toujours à la recherche d’améliorer les destinations sous sa responsabilité
- Fonctionner comme interlocuteur pour autres départements internes en cas d’éventuels problèmes
- Assurer les tâches administratives relatives au Département

**_Required profile:_**

**_Minimum required criteria:_**
- Have a master degree in tourism or equivalent confirmed work experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise in the Contracting & Product Management gained in the classical and/or digital tourism environment
- Have a proven experience in a similar position at a tour operator or a hotel chain
- Have an excellent knowledge about the travel market and tourism industry
- Show good negotiation skills and strong organizational skills
- Have an affinity with numbers
- Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to take decision and responsibility
- Accept the duty travel policy
- Show excellent communication & negotiation skills in English and a second language amongst French, German or Spanish.

- Perfectly master the programs and different procedures related to the Contracting & Product
- Management department
- Be strict, accurate and stress-resistant
- Be willing to develop other languages such as Luxemburgish or other commonly spoken
- Have the capacity and ability to organize and plan.
- **_ Critères mínimaux requis pour le poste_**
- Etre détenteur d’un master ou d’une formation en tourisme ou une expérience professionnelle équivalente dans le domaine touristique
- Avoir une expérience en matière d’achats d’hôtels
- Avoir une expérience confirmée dans la gestion des produits
- Avoir une expérience dans une position similaire chez un tour opérat
