Systems Operations Supervisor

We are seeking to engage in our Bank a:
**Systems Operations Supervisor (M/F)**:
As Systems Operations Supervisor you will be part of the IT department, you will ensure the good operation of IT systems and security by supervising the tasks performed by the System Operators, by making suggestions for system improvements and by taking appropriate decisions in the case of system failures while complying with the internal IT procedures.

**Your mission**:

- Supervise all tasks performed by the IT Systems team and ensure contacts with IT suppliers and service providers
- Handle specific helpdesk requests related to IT systems matters (which require an advanced level of expertise) following the internal related procedure
- Distribute helpdesk requests among the team members according to the nature of the request and supervise helpdesk requests treated by the IT systems team
- Supervise the system checks according to the daily checklist performed by the System Operators in order to continuously monitor the local network and avoid possible failures
- Supervise helpdesk requests treated by the System Operators and ensure reports issuance for treated incidents
- Supervise software, hardware, supplies, technical documentation inventory
- Monitor projects related to IT systems section
- Coordinate and supervise all tasks related to IT systems & telecommunication projects (e.g. investigate feasibility of projects, set-up an action plan, impact analysis, )
- Develop technical procedures related to the IT systems section in collaboration with the IT systems team, test these procedures in order to ensure their quality and reliability before to submit them for validation
- Perform the technical analysis, test and prepare the implementation of projects following the internal procedures (e.g. user testing, adjustments, ) in collaboration of the IT systems team
- Assist the Head of IT in the administration
- Ensure the continuity of vital operations in collaboration with the Head of IT/Deputy (documentation, administration, update and testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans) for all
- Support the Head of IT/Deputy in the annual performance review process by assessing competencies and individual performance of the IT Systems team, discuss potential competency gaps in order to find appropriate solutions to increase overall team performance
- Support and coach team members in their daily job and ensure the distribution of tasks among them
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the IT department
- Perform all daily IT systems tasks when required : technical analysis, implementation, testing, help desk, PC software upgrade,.
- Perform the tasks related to the IT department needs and if necessary handle contacts with external IT suppliers or providers
- Perform the tasks related to the IT security

**Your Profile**:

- Strong Knowledge of IT Infrastructure :Network, Security and Telecom
- Strong knowledge of Windows active directory and operating systems ( Server and Workstation)
- Good knowledge of Backup and storage concepts, IBM Spectrum and IBM BRMS in particular
- Strong knowledge of Vmware
- Operator knowledge of AS/400 for daily management
- Good technical knowledge of SWIFT systems, architecture and networks
- Good technical knowledge of Banking Applications: Reuters/ Bloomberg/Olympic/e-file/Plexus/Euclid PC..
- Strong interest in understanding the IT systems used by the bank and propose their evolution
- and TelecomExperience: 5 years in Custody function (middle and/or back-office cash & securities)
- Strong interest in IT operation automation,Devops as well as IT Cybersecurity
