Central Administration and Depositary Governance

Apex are working with a client that is currently looking for a Central Administration and Depositary Governance (CADGOV) Manager to support our growing operations in the Central Administration / Depositary governance department. This is a full-time hybrid role that comes with a favorable salary and benefits package. - As a Central Administration and Depositary Governance Manager, you will support our growing operations in the Central Administration / Depositary governance department. You will be functionally and disciplinary leading the CADGOV function for the business and closely collaborating with the Senior Management of FundRock Management Company S.A. with regards to all critical matters. - To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: - Planning, designing, leading and executing projects related to the governance of the Central Administrators and Depositary Banks in business relationship with FRMC - Support due diligence oversight reviews on the central administrators and the depositary banks, including AML/KYC preliminary documentation and risk review, questionnaire and standard pack documentation review, ISAE 3402 control reports and any other pertinent documentation review, for the purpose of the business model and the implemented control framework understanding; - Contribute to due diligence oversight reports on the Central Administrators and the Depositary Banks for the attention of the Management Company/AIFM Conducting Officers, Management Committees and Board of Directors. Identify potential breaches and escalate when required; - Keep up to date key internal control and templates including the due diligence oversight dashboard, the internal company shared database and any template used for the preparation and completion of the due diligence exercise; - A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the fund industry and oversight roles, ideally with a Central Administrator, a Depositary Bank or an audit firm - Previous experience managing a small team and organizing work allocation - A solid understanding of the investment fund industry and the Management Company/AIFM key regulatory environment requirements; In return for your dedication, collaboration and commitment, you'll receive a generous salary and benefits package, and join a welcoming and inclusive culture.
