Internship Product Manager Business

About the role

As a business Manager on the business side, you will be responsible for extending Divizend’s platform for withholding tax refunds, the Maximizer, to also support B2B customers as claimants, e.g. tax advisors, asset managers, banks, family offices, stock-listed companies with ESOP and funds. You will be working for Divizend Luxembourg S.à r.l., which offers you our office space in the LHoFT in the city of Luxembourg.

As a student, you can either do an internship or write your thesis at our company.
Role and responsibilities

Your main challenge will be to conceptualize and develop a suitable abstraction layer for the very diverse set of B2B customers of our withholding tax reclaim platform, while considering their requirements and fiscal/procedural guidelines. You will be a mediator between our internal software development team and external customers.

Lead and own the project for expanding the Maximizer to also support B2B clients
Define a robust product strategy and roadmap together with the founders and other stakeholders from the customer side
Own, further develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap to ensure growth and scalability
Customer support and relationship management

**Profile**:
Ability to translate complex business requirements into IT requirements

Understanding of software development and integrations that serve product enhancements

Interest or even experience in modern/agile software development methodologies and creating digital experiences is beneficial
Interest or even experience in securities and taxing is beneficial, possibly even international taxation (e.g. withholding taxes, relief at source)
Outstanding written and verbal communication ability to a diverse stakeholder audience in English; German or French are optional but beneficial
Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Experience in other FinTechs or in the financial services industry is a strong asset

Lead and own the software side of the project for expanding the maximizer to also support B2B clients
Create an implementation plan, based on modern software development methodologies and the requirements collected from the customers and planned future expansions
Work closely together with Divizend’s CTO to get started with software development, later transition more and more into an independent working style
Prioritise work based on inputs from many stakeholders, while being flexible to iterate/change

**Profile**:
Experience in modern/agile software development methodologies and creating digital experiences, possibly even user interface design
Ability to translate complex business requirements into IT requirements
